About Me: I am a mother to 3 wonderful boys, Dlyan 8, Kaden 6 and Lil Mason 22months! A wife to my fabulous husband Jacob and a friend to many. We live in Big Bear Lake, Ca my husband was born and raised here as all 3 of our boys will be. I was born in Thomasville, NC and moved to San Diego when I was 5yrs old so I would say im a cali girl. I enjoy spending time with our family and friends on the lake or off day or night I'm good for a fun time. We own two companies a construction comp and a dance studio which takes up oh goodness alot of time but I do love it. I am here to make new friends and learn more about homeschool as this is our firt year.

Music: I love all music to list a few must say the worship band at church rocks I love the diverse style and their smiles make it impossible to be sad! Ummmmm due to owning a dance studio staying up on music is super important so I do use youtube a bunch and edit most all I find.

TV: Don't really get a chance to watch much not hooked on any shows right now.

Books: I do love to read, I say the most recent book I have read is Raising Happy Kids by Elizabeth Hartley-Brewer and well its just grand! I enjoy reading to learn so I love these kinds of books.

Likes: I am in love with my lord and savior and friend JESUS! I love how the world is an open place searching for him and I am glad to know him and enjoy sharing his word.

Dislikes: People who think its all about them far to sad!

Hobbies: Scrapbooking, shopping OMGoodness lol, my Titus 2 and any and all things my boys drag me into xoxoxo

So I am very new to the homeschool world and came across this site from a post reply on CAVA. Looking to make some friends with other moms who also homeschool, we are doing CAVA this year with our older son Dylan and then brining in his brother Kaden shortly after. They are always hard together only 2 yrs 10 days apart and I do wish sometimes for a hand book lol! They are both great boys but I am going to work hard on understanding the homeschool thing both my husband I went thru public schooling but we no longer felt it safe for our son there. I hope to stay on track and keep him excited about learning he loves science so we found a really cool web site called brainpop and brainpop jr! Hope they will be great. Well any info on homeschool would be wonderful and this is my first blog hope it works xoxoxo

Welcome to the Homeschool world. If you need a friend to guide you through your first year I'm here for you. It can be a challenge but in the end its all worth it. Just keep that in mind on those hard days and you guys will do fine! Good luck! Ill be praying for you!
