Well if you read the previous post, you'll know I had wanted to start back last week.. but since Amanda had oral surgery, that was pushed back. So Monday the 15th will be our start date for the 2008-09 School Year. Here is what I hope to have completed:

Math - We never finished the last few pages in MUS Zeta from last year, so that needs worked on. I want to have 10 pages of their Key to Decimals book done.

L. Arts - 10 pgs in the Word Roots books. These take all of 2 minutes per page. They actually do more like 4 pgs a day, but I'll just stick with 10 because.. well just because. LOL We have SEVERAL library books to get read so we'll be finishing those up.

Science we plan on doing the books based on Joy Hakim's Story of Science but I think we'll start that in October. I have some more things to read of Dr. Art Susseman so we'll do that. I want to work our way through the Planet Earth DVD's as well this month.

History we'll be doing the BF Medieval times we didn't use last year. But again I think we'll start this in Oct. or later in Sept. Not next week for certain. hehe

Then I also need to get our next Kitchen Chemistry experiement ready for co-op next Friday. The kids I forgot to bring notebooks for them, so we need to get last weeks experiment transferred over so they'll have everything in a spiral book. Plus they'll be keeping logs from our experiments we do at home as well.

So I am looking forward to getting back into things. Let's hope for a year full of fun learning. :D
