The weather is so well tolerable...he he he I usually equate our weather to the 7th circle of hell but the last several days have been wonderful and a few times I have found myself a little chilly.  Woke this morning with a slight sinus headache but after a cup of coffee and getting dressed I was doing good.  Got the house cleaned, Katie got her school work done, Ela had a regular nap in her bed which lately she has just fallen asleep playing in the living room so it was nice to get a few hours of quiet.  Katie just went to get Dani and Hellie from their after school program.  We are going to grill sausages, and have corn on the cob, and salad for dinner tonight.  Maybe we will watch a movie and play a game tonight too.

As for me.... we got up after sleeping in, Katie and I had coffee and Boston Cream Pie flavored toaster strudel they were AWESOME!!!! Then we picked up the house, looked up a few recipes for dinner tonight we are trying some new and quick tonight, got Katie caught up on her school work she is doubling up today since we were out from lunch till dinner time yesterday. We walked to an appointment yesterday, to Walgreen's, then to the grocery store, and then to pick the kids' up from their after school program.  Katie got in the kitchen and made homemade BBQ sauce cause she thought it would be fun since it goes in what we are making tonight....biscuit cup things with ground meat with BBQ sauce topped with cheese and baked (courtesy of a blog I read called Rocks In My Dryer). I love it that she is enjoying being in the kitchen!  One cause she is learning to love to cook and two well I am not having to cook nearly as much WOO HOO!!!

I didn't sleep well last night so I got up early and got the girls' ready and off to the bus. Picked up the girls' room, gathered up the laundry, took out chicken for dinner tonight, and started the coffee pot. Then I went back to bed for a bit cause everyone was still sleeping and it was quiet. Then we got back up, Mike headed to work, the girls' and I made bagels for breakfast and we watched Cash Cab. Got the house cleaned up, the laundry done, colored my hair, took a nice shower, and we had potato broccoli soup for lunch. Katie just finished picking up the kitchen and now she is gonna finish up the last of her school work. I am gonna do my work out and then run grab Helen from her after school program. Dani is going to a friends for a few hours to hang out after school. Tomorrow we will have a baby shower to go to for Katie's youth minister, then the house to clean, and Katie to send off to a friend so they can go to a concert at the local college and then she is spending the night with her. Only other things we are doing this weekend are church on Sunday and then getting Katie off to her Aunt's for a few hours before she has to go back to college but that is it for our weekend. Hoping to get all Katie's worked graded and worked up for next week as well as get in some scrap booking too.

Got up late today cause I had an awful sinus headache!!!!  Katie made us some cereal with strawberries on top and cinnamon rolls with coffee for breakfast.....it was soooo good.  Little miss Ela has been so clumsy today, she tripped over her own little feet and didn't get her hands out in time to brace her fall and fell flat on her little face and gave herself a small fat lip and a bloody nose.  She knocked over the vacuum onto her foot and banged her leg.  We got the house cleaned up and Katie is done with her school work for the day.  I have to make an appetizer for a meeting tonight, get my work out in, shower, and get ready to go.  Katie is gonna walk over to the girls' after school program and pick them up this afternoon, I hope the weather holds!!!!  Then she is going to whip up turkey spaghetti for them for dinner tonight while I get ready.

Got up this morning, had some coffee and yogurt, got the house picked up, laundry done then Katie, Ela, and I went and grabbed a slice of pizza, picked up a movie to watch Sunday night, stopped by the library and dropped off some books.  Came home and Katie did her school work in record time plus some extra reading to get ahead next week.  Our local cable company is putting on a free movie in the park tonight so we are gonna eat and by that time Mike will be home so Ela will stay here with him.  The rest of the girls' and I are gonna pop some popcorn, take our picnic blanket and some icy cold water and head to the park.  They are showing E.T. and giving away prizes and beach towels.
