I just ordered phonics/reading, science, writing and math from McRuffy press for my soon to be Kindergartener for next year. Im excited to use it. It looks realy good. Does anyone here use the curriculum or have used it in the past? if so whats your opinion on it. did it work well for your child? My son is special ed. He needs something that is at a slow pace. He also has a speech problem. I hope that the phonics part will help him with his speech.

In my last post i said i had some R&S books i was going to use next year. That hasnt changed im still going to use it for back up but i have ordered SOS for both my girls next year. I found it cheap on Ebay so it didnt cost much to get both full curriculum packs for both my girls (4th grade and 7th grade) I will keep my R&S books in case any of the subjects with SOS just doesnt work for my girls.

Does anyone use SOS or have used it in the past. I would like to hear about your opinion on it. i have read good and bad reviews on it.

Hi! Nice to meet you. My son was diagnosed PDD-NOS at age 6, but had a mild regression around age 7 and would probably get the autism diagnosis now. Being able to pick and choose curriculum that appeals to these guys is so great. Schools can't do that and my Luke really needs to learn in his own way. He won't do it any other way, LOL. How old is your son now?
