Thanks for the friends request, I really enjoyed reading your blogs. I plan on going to the school all year concept this year starting with our first day this year. I just really needed the break this summer and although they did a lot of unschooling on their own it was not enough apparantly for my daughter LOL. Look forward to reading more on your blogs!

We school year round. August is our "summer break". School begins again Sept. 5 and we take a week off every 8 or 9 weeks depending on how it fits on the calendar, and we get the standard 2 wks at Christmas, only because we travel to see the family.

I didn't really plan to do it this way it just evolved over the last couple years.
