What a Week

This was Bible School week in our community. All the churches get together. I worked with the music. Boy, are my knees sore. There was lots of jumping.Wednesday afternoon my sil called to talk to dh. Dd tried to get him up, then told me to try. I went up, and tried for a while to get him up, took a message from sil, then checked dh's blood sugar. It was extreemly low, 38. I tried to get some candy in him, and dialed 911. They gave him a glucose iv. He's ok now. He went to a family reunion with sil.The kids went to the creek almost every day this week. They came back yesterday because the water was too high and fast after the rain we had the night before. They told me there was even a whirl pool at the swimming hole.Tags:

Wow, glad to hear DH is okay - thank God for that call from SIL, or you might not have caught that sugar level when you did...
COkay, knee pain - ow! I hope you feel better soon!
I tripped over our baby gate (it wasn't even UP, it was just in the way) and the rod that holds the baby gate tight jabbed me in the knee as I was carrying the baby, and I totally fell! Thankfully the baby wasn't hurt, but my knee is messed up now - I think I sprained it ;) If it's not sprained, it's bruised so bad the pain is under the kneecap and radiates to the other side (and it's been 3 days now...) I can walk, but no one can touch my knee! Aah, the things we do to keep our children safe!
