    Hello to everyone,

This weekend has been very busy. Yesterday I went to my best friend's house after going to an open house for an online school for my middle daughter who is 14. I really think this is going to work out as she is going into high school and she really wants to try it. She wanted to go to public school and I told her that isn't going to be ok with us so we found this. We then went to my best friend's house and we had lunch and dinner with her and we hit some yard sales. Which I love doing. I got a science book and a biolgy book for . 50 cents each and I got this question and answer book which is old but I thought that my son could open it up and pick something read about it and do some research on the internet or libary. He was very excited about. We are eclectic homeschooler so school is always open to change at any point. Even with my DD starting the online schooling we are still going to be doing school stuff here at home.

Today which is Sunday we had a blast. We went to the lake in Idaho and we swam along ways past the swimming area about 1.5 miles. It was so much fun just to spend that family time together and not be in a rush all the time. We then played catch with the foot ball and we had brought our batmitten set and played that as well. We had lunch and dinner at the park. They have a HUGE play area which my son played tag in with some boys he had just met. I think it is fantastic he is friendly like that.

This week I am planning on cleaning out two homeschooling closets and one book shelf and sorting everything. Going through everything my kiddos did last year. Organize each child's work by subject and by date and put into a big binder with divders. Then I want to go through all of the stuff I haven't used and try to organize it. I also want to go through my craft supplies and see what I might need.

I have a questions for anybody who wants to answer it. ok here goes

    1. Do you over stock on school supplies even when you don't need them because they are just so darn cheap.

    2. Do you get excited when you see something even if your kids turn their noses up at it. You still try to make it fun.

    3. Do you ever feel like you need a homeschooling room to keep stuff in even if you already have one it seems like you always need more room to put stuff.

    4. Do you ever over stock with things to do for the year. Meaning art supplies activities, things to do but never seem to get to them.

    and last but not least

    5. Do you ever feel overwhemled by yourself LOL this is a big YES because I get so excited about learning it is overwhelming and I need to pace myself. My kids love it tho.

If you have questions like this go right ahead and ask away. I would love to hear from anybody.

Well until next time, Take care

Hope you have a great school year.
