Hi just recently my moms friend opened up to my mom about her childhood. She told my mom that when she was five she would stay with her little brothers while her mom when to work. She would have to take care of them and since her parent broke up she would have to stay alone. When her mom would come home and did not find her at home with her brothers her mom would look for her and when she found her she would spank her with a stick in public. Then one day her mom dropped her of with her grandparents and told her that she was going to be right back and that her mom was going to by her a bicycle. So she at five years of age believed her mom. But she didn't  came back. So she stayed with her grandparents. Her grandparents abused her to they made her work with out shoes and socks. By  the age of 13 she was mentally and physically tired she was 60 pounds at age 13. Her grandparents hardly fed her. Then I don't know how but her mom had herd of her situation and did not even have the decency to go and pick her up. She had water backs go pick her up and take her across the boarder. (Water back are people that take you across the boarder by boat) She said that it toke them three days to get here to the usa she had been in El Salvador. In that three day they did not feed her she felt like she was going to die. She had herd that coming to the usa was great and that every thing was going to change but things got worst her mom made her work and abused her. In high school girls jumped her and beat her up. By the age of 16 she wanted to have a boyfriend and her mom said no. So one night she still went out with him and when is come back her mom threw her out literally just threw her stuff out the door. So she went with her boyfriend and got married and had a happy life right WRONG. Her boy friend would beat her to so one day she called the police and her boy friend now husband stopped. Now she has 2 kids. Her husband does not want to work. So she is the only one making ends meet. She said that it is hard some times but she has to stay strong for the kids.
