About Me: I am Becky! A 28 year old, happily married woman and homeschooling mom to three. We are a multiracial family meaning that I am white, my husband is black and our children are biracial. We love that about us.
I am a different kind of gal, and I have a hippie, earthy vibe. I try to be very eco-conscious in all my choices and as natural as possible. That includes natural pregnancy and childbirth, baby wearing, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, cloth diapering, and now homeschooling.
I like to think I dance to the beat of my own drum, and the rhythm is FUNKY! :-P
Music: Country is my favorite, along with contemporary Christian, R&B, alternative rock, classical, jazz and most other kinds of music. I really do like anything but gangster rap and death metal.
Movies: I LOVE MOVIES!!!
Some of my current favorites are Pride and Prejudice (with Keira Knightly), Deliver us from Eva, Blades of Glory, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Harry Potter Series, The Thomas Crown Affair, and The American President.
TV: Jericho, Big Love, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, The Unit, NCIS, CSI (only Las Vegas!), and The Tudors.
Books: The Bible; Eat, Pray, Love; Emma; Pride & Prejudice; Little Women, Charlotte's Web; The Ordinary Princess, The Pelican Brief and many, many, MANY more!
Likes: Spring days, Summer storms, ice cream and chocolate, puppies, kittens, baby laughs, rainbows, daisies and sunflowers, autumn leaves, brisk breezes, laundry on a clothesline, fireworks, BBQ's, margaritas, church choirs and many more things.
Dislikes: Ignorance, racism, prejudice and imtolerance.
Hobbies: Crocheting, reading, writing, shopping, internet surfing, antiquing, playing poker, crafting, painting and redecorating.
Vices: Tequila? LOL......ok, maybe vodka.
Virtues: Kindness, loyalty
Heroes: My hubby that works so hard, my kids that make me a better person, and my sisters.
LOL! A support group for book-aholics just might backfire! ;P
TheLadyElizabethWe've been in the RV since last September. It's been quite an experience. Talk about hyper-organized! One little thing out of place and it feels like a mess!
